Harvest of the Arts

On Saturday, Oct. 24, the Holt Community Arts Council will bring a harvest of a different kind to the Holt Farmers’ Market. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., artists and performers from various genres will demonstrate their talents and lead some hands-on projects.

The Holt Community Arts Council has commissioned a sculptor from the Lansing area to create Delhi Township's first major public artwork. The nine-foot high stainless steel sculpture was created by Tom Sheerin. Installation will take place beginning October 15, 2009. A formal dedication ceremony will take place in the spring of 2010.
